The American skate magazine Thrasher magazine was first published in 1981 by Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello and their logo soon became a well-known concept in the skate community all over the world. Since 1990, Thrasher magazine has announced the annual "Skater of the Year" poll, regularly publishes skate videos and organizes the famous skate team competition "King of The Road". In addition to the cult magazine and the bible of skateboarding, the brand has also become a successful production company, radio station and fashion brand.
