GX1000 is a San Francisco-based skateboard brand founded by filmmaker and skateboarder Ryan Garshell. Originally known as a video project documenting the city’s steep hills, rough streets and fast downhill lines, GX1000 quickly became one of the most influential names in modern skateboarding. The brand is recognized for its raw approach, fearless skating and iconic videos that capture the unique energy of San Francisco street skating. Built around a team of riders willing to take on some of the most demanding terrain in skateboarding, GX1000 has featured skaters such as Sean Greene, Ben Kadow, Al Davis, Jake Johnson, Aaron Loreth and Josh McLaughlin.
